Prevent creation of item instances on RMA receipt

 Hi,

We have a scenario, where we want to prevent creation of an item instance on RMA receipt. The reason for this being, these items were originally shipped out using Misc Project Issue Inventory Transaction in a separate inventory org. The items are setup as IB trackable since the same items are used to ship on Sales Orders and RMAs where we want the standard IB functionality.

There is a note in metalink to prevent creation of instances for IB tracked "non-shippable" items (276412.1). I am wondering anyone has used anything similar for RMA Receipts.
