How to track Capital Work In Progress (CWIP) in Fixed Assets

Dear Experts,
Please provide know how to capture CWIP in Fixed Assets, the scenario is as such, materials are issued from Inventory ( ex, cement, iron, bricks ) for building in construction and the amount is parked in separate G.L. Code ( CWIP G.L. Code), this amount is reflected in Trial balance as CWIP.

Now, the requirement is to capture the same in Oracle Fixed Assets and on running the same the same should be coming in Fixed Asset register as CWIP. However, no depreciation should be charged unless they are put to use.

Thanks

Sachin
