Is there any official document recommend to restart database to refresh it instead of let it keep ru

 Hi ,
we have a database (Oracle 10.2.5.0) was running on AIX 5.3 server about two year, all the way was running as normal but recently occurred some ORA-07445/ORA-00600 internal errors (Oracle support recommend we can temporary ignore it unless it happens frequently).
Is there any official document recommend to restart database to refresh it instead of let database keep running a long time and causing any potential issue,so I can show the document to management to get application/database downtime, thanks a lot!
