Cost Types with DMAAI 4330

Hi

We are on JDE 9.1 and just wanted to check with community members if we can use cost types with DMAAI 4330.

The requirement is below

a). We are capturing Freight and Duty as X costs on the product costing side. Payment is handled separately for these components

b). But the purchase price does not include these components

c). So when we receive we will be having a PPV

d). We want to direct the variance on account of Freight and Duty to go to a separate Freight and Duty Accrual a/c.

We can achieve the above by use of landed costs, but that will involve some maintenance. So just wanted to check to check if we can use cost types to direct the Freight and Duty components of the variance to a separate account.
