Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Launch Pick Release does not allocate items to staging subinventory

Hi,

Could anyone please explain functionality of "Launch Pick Release" option in Shipping Transactions form in Order Management (or WMS)?

Standard pick release option is working fine and orders are allocated from source subinventories to staging subinventory.

But releasing order with "Launch Pick Release" option it allocates items back to the source subinventory instead of staging subinventory.

Seems that it does not use any of the pick release rules, nor pre-set staging subinventory in Shipping Parameters.
