Replace motherboard in sparc T5440 will lost LDOM configuration or not?
Hi,
We have a SPARC T5440 server, this server has LDOM configuration with 2 guest domains. Unfortunately it powered down yesterday due to faulted motherboard. So I have log a SR to order new MB to replace part. However I'm confused if I replace new MB, then the LDOM configuration will lost or not???
As I know the LDOM configuration is stored on the service processor in CMT systems. The service processor may be integral to the motherboard or an individual FRU.In this case I have checked this server had a dedicated individual SP, therefore if we should have to replace the system board, then the LDOM configuration stored on the SP will be preserved or not???, then the system can be powered up normally follow by 2 ldom guest domains being able to boot up successfully???
