Picking Multiple members from the form in a Global Variable

Hello,
I have a scenario where I have multiple employees in rows on a data form and I want to select only the employees visible on the form for a calculation, not the whole hierarchy. I am trying to achieve it by using a global variable with multiple members as input and the rule is attached to the form. But everytime I run the rule, it prompts me to select employees even though the option of using members on the form and hiding the prompt are selected.
