Re: separate account for Intransit Inventory

To cost Managment experts - I have questions in our SCM accounts, we had specified a separate account for Intransit Inventory.
However, the system will always default the org Inventory Valuation account to this account and, contrary to first impressions, it cannot be changed (see Metalink note 1342007.1).

Will this affect any of GL reporting?

Any update or help is appreciated
