Recreate MV takes 19+ hours... Need Urgent help

Hi Experts,
I have numerous issues on MV on our DWH environment. One of the big issue is, MV recreation takes very very long time and could not able to find solution in Grid Control
This is 10.2.0.4 release on Datawarehouse system where MV needs to be refreshed. Due to 10g bug, we could not able to refresh and forced to recreate the MV as a workaround.
While creating so, it takes very long time. As per my analysis, i see huge temp space/sort operation is being used which seems causing this slow performance, however i dont get any recommendation/solution while running advisor in Grid
