can ASM instance in DR reused disks of ASM instance in DC ?

Dear all,We have a situations I can't find documents about it. With your knowledge and experience, Please help me to clear this situations.

We have Oracle RAC system is runing in DC site, storage is ASM. Now we want to setup a Oracle Standalone with ASM in DR site to protect data. 
Oracle system (Oracle instance, ASM instance) in DC and DR is separate.

Data in DC include LUNs (Data, Arch) will be synchronize to DR by storage level, LUNs (Data, Arch) in DC will transfer to DR at block by block.

My trouble is I don't know how ASM instance in DR site can reused data from ASM instance at DC site. Can this configuration is possible ?
