Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Bar Code Printing

Bar code printing in BIP , Please let me know if I am missing some step.

Problem: Bar codes get printed , however scanners are unable to recognize these bar codes.

Development steps.

We are using Barcodes by IDAutomation.

1. Bar code font files installed on the local windows desktop (sample : IDAutomationC128M.ttf)

2. Bar code font files updated into Oracle Applications
BIP Super user > Administration > Font Files
Fonts uploaded and visible here

3. In the rtf template , the bar codes data fields are set to the respective Barcode font

4. Report prints , pdf gets generated with Barcodes. But these bar codes are not recognized by a scanner.
