Copy Requisition does not update Buyer from corresponding Blanket Purchase Agreement

I have the following situation in 11i:
Requisitions are created in iProcurement, the items are referred to Blanket Purchase Agreements. For the new creation of requisitions the buyer is taken from Blanket Purchase Agreement.
Now a Buyer leaves the company and a new buyer is referred in the Blanket Purchase Agreement.
Problem:
For new created requisitions the new buyer is taken. But when an old requisition is copied the old buyer is taken and an error message is displayed - a valid buyer has to be chosen. But the iProcurement user should not choose the buyer.
Is there a solution for this?
