Can we use nodev option for datafiles?

Hi,

For ACFS file system as per docs oracle suggest to use nodev option for ASFS filesystem

For a non ACFS file system can we use

nodev option for all Oracle related filesystems such as /app/oracle/product (ORACLE_HOME), /app/oracle/oradata (Datafiles) etc.

Is there any disadvantage caused by using this option ?
