Actual shipment date and shipped quantity is NULL for the order lines for which we actually shipped

Hi,
We just found few cases in production (while looking at backend), where actual shipment date and shipped quantity is NULL for some sales order lines for which actually we already have shipped physical items in greater than zero quantity.

Can any one please suggest what could be wrong here? 

Surprisingly, Fulfilled quantity and Actual fulfillment date fields are showing correct non-NULL values for all these cases.
