Can OM support partial return?

We sold product to the customer but return part of it. The complexity when it's a BOM SKU and they only return a portion of the SKU.  Can OM Sales Order Return support partial return only?

How do yo know how much of the price of the BOM to refund?. If the BOM cost $20 and there are 4 items and return one, how much to refund. It can't be the full value of that one item because they're discounted when sold in a BOM. We are still on 11i

Any thoughts?
