How to remount asm diskgroup if the server has been reinstalled?

Hi everyone,

I have a question about asm. How to remount asm diskgroup contains complete data if the server has been reinstalled? I found if I recreated the diskgroup, the diskgroup was empty. But if the server local disk and GI was damaged. I reinstalled GI after disk replacement. Can I mount the old diskgroup contains complete data and reopen db? Or I only have to restore db from backup?
