Error:Backing up a Physical Standby database requires a recovery catalog

Hello,

We  have a 2-node dataguard configuration of 11.2.0.2 servers windows 2008  and after a switchover,we wish to schedule a backup on the physcial standby using the OEM Grid Control 10.2.0.5 on windows 2003. But the physical standby is throwing an error of "Backing up a physical standby requires a recovery catalog".

The primary database is so far okay in maintaining a scheduled job. But the Physical Standby is not.

Please advise.
