Siebel Patch 8.2.2.3

Dear Members

Please help me out by clarifying the patching activity which I need to perform on the env.

Basically issue is we have siebel 8.2.x setup patched with siebel 8.2.2.2 
Now we are planning to implement 8.2.2.3 patch on the siebel env. When I go through the Maintenance Release Guide 8.2.2.3 I can see this "Optionally, you can uninstall an existing installed Siebel Fix Pack 8.2.2.x release before you install the latest Fix Pack"

So we have query that do I need to uninstall the patch 8.2.2.2 first then go ahead for 8.2.2.3 after that need to run repository upgrade with the package OpenUI_Base_8223.zip available in repatch folder of siebel tools patched with 8.2.2.3
