Inquiry about inventory item flag inter-dependency

On Inventory user guide, it states that if inventory item flag is set to N, stockable must be set to N. If stockable is set to N, transactionable must be set to N. At application, if I de-select inventory item flag, stockable and transactionable flag would be automatically deselected. However, the user guide does not states what happened when inventory item flag is set as Y. If inventory item flag is set as Y, can stockable flag and transactionable flag be set as N? At application, I can make inventory item flag checked but stockable and transactionable flag unchecked. Oracle
