Disabling Automatic Tax Calculation

 Hello,
I have created a Tax Regime and Tax Rate which is applicable to invoices in AP by default. There are no problems in the tax calculation but i want to manually apply the tax rate instead of it being automatic.
Currently all invoices i create are subjected to this rate by default. Is it possible that somehow, i can choose between  applying the tax rate or not to apply it?
