R15117 Lease Global Update Report not updating F1541BW table

Posting on behalf of client:
As per the current design, the Lease Global Update program (R15117) does not update the Sales History workfile (F1541BW) table. Since the F1541BW table is part of the Sales History tables (F1540B, F1541B & F1541BW) and moreover P1541B (Sales History Inquiry) application is based on this table, any global changes being made to the rest of tables does not get updated to F1541BW table. 

Does anyone else has come across this scenario? Client is currently updating the records in F1541BW table via SQL. Any inputs or thoughts from the community members are much appreciated.
