Same products in separate relationship and potential risk with Automatch.

context:

on my current project, some wants to create 2 relationships for the same product class (barring products for telco). One for optional products and one for mandatory products. The choice between optional and mandatory cannot be made via constraint because that choice needs to be done at promotion level (different bundle promotions have different optional/mandatory products). It is sad that one cannot define in the promotion what products in a domain are required. Indeed, one can only define a default quantity for each product and a cardinality but the user can still remove the default product and choose another one
