Bringing our year-end forward....

We are planning on bringing our year-end forward from February 28th 2014 to December 31st 2013 and will need to amend our calendar in GL. We have seen the suggested solution on MOS which, on the face of it, doesn't sound too complicated a change from a system perspective; however, we are fully aware that the devil is always in the detail!

As we are already part of the way though the current fiscal year, we doubt that we can make the changes to our calendar in the way that Oracle describes but we would be interested to hear from anyone who has any experience of actually achieving this.
