non default oracle port

DATABASE: Oracle 11.2OS: Linux 6
RAC: 6 nodes 

Oracle default port = 1521.  What is the benefit of using non-default Oracle port?

I did not find any good Oracle document that explain benefits of using non-default Oracle port.
