Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. unsetting default printer

oel 5.8 64bit

ad102 was the default printer, i created a phony printer called DEFAULT, and set that as the default printer ,

lpoptions -d DEFAULT

lpadmin -d DEFAULT

lpstat -d shows DEFAULT as the default printer

service cups restart

when i go to system > adminisistration>printing and i select any printer, they all show ad102 as the default ??
