Patch Update

A bug is identified on  Oracle database 11g.  I have located a patch#6 that is referred to as a fix. When I get to the download page in Oracle Support, I see a message saying 'This Patch has been Superseded'.  So, when click the link to the new one,   there is another one superseding that, and I believe it keeps going.

So, my question is, should I just use the first one identified Patch#6 or go for the highest number of the patch.
