Transfer Date not populated in Installed base Item Instances page

 1. We are attempting to transfer ownership for a serialized item from distributor to customer. We enter the party name and transfer date in Owner tab and click update but transfer date field is null after changing ownership. Where can I see transfer date?2. Which table, column gets updated with transfer date?
3. When using API csi_item_instance_pub.update_item_instance which variable refers to transfer date?
