Download Attachment with Custom Javascript or eScript in Open UI

 Hi,Is it possible to use java-script functions or siebel eScript to download attachment to browser when the user click on a button. 

We were trying with getFile method but it gives a path of the attachment in siebel temp folder which is not accessible by the browser.
