Solaris 11 recover root password and change role to account.

Hi,
I've been trying to recover the root password on S11.1 a system.
I was successful in changing the password in single user mode.
When I switched back to multi-userI've received an error saying that the user is a role, not an account.

Is there a way to to change the role back to an account without
having to login as a different user in multi-user mode and then 'su'?
