change interface scsi to HBA

in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question
Hello,SMD currently discs, are seen as scsi disks, because the HBAs are not certified and OVM does not recognize them.
I think I'll have to change the type of controller remove a disk that is on sharing OCFS2 (RAC Environment) from the scsi controller and then see the disc again by Sk HBA, without loss of data.
Is just what I think?
