PROPERTY MGMT TRANSACTIONS NOT IMPACTING THE GL

Hello team,

when ther's an inflow on to the bank account, such money received is applied against tenant on oracle asset mgmt which impacts on the ff GLs:

Debit the bank GL

Credit Advanced rent received with the total amount paid into the bank.

On a monthly basis, an ammortisation is done on such leases which impacts on the ff GLs.

DEBIT "advanced rent receive" AND

CREDIT " RENTAL INCOME"

for the period of may, such did not impact on the GL. However for the previous months, the GLs were impacted.

Kindly advise on what steps to do.
