Load Balance Advisory

I am having trouble with server side load balanceing.

Freshen listener.log files

Stop listener, scan listener and instances.

Start the listener, scan listener and instances

 

Create load on node one.   – uptime shows 4+ on node1 and  2+ on node2

Generate connections using a service configured for load balancing 

Results:

The connections start out alternating between instances but shift to node one and repeat connections all go to node 1.

This happens whether the services are configured for long or short.

This happens whether the connections come from node 1 or node 2.

 I am consistently getting unexpected results. The new connections seem attracted to the loaded node!
