Template upload not working in BI publisher

  Hi
I am facing an issue with uploading rtf templates in BI publisher 10.3.4.1 through the upload button. As such, there is no error, but after you select the template and click the upload button it just shows uploading and stays like that for ever and the template doesn't get uploaded . What could be a possible issue and solution if any of you have come across such a weird issue ?

As a workaround i am uploading the template by copy and paste to the report folders in the server. From the next couple of days they will be closing the server access and so cannot do this anymore and so I want to upload the template from the application itself. Any help is highly appreciated.
