database Backup

  Hello every body ,
My issue is , i think ,   a Bug in DB 11.2.0.1 ; about taking a backup of my DB via two utilities ( expdb , exp ) ?

i didn't have backup yet for my  database since installation  :( 

My Platform : Red Hat Linux 5 - 32bit
DB : Oracle Database 11.2.0.1 g

The problem :

When I type this  command :

exp system/******@myoracle file=/backup/full_dmp.dmp log=/backup/full_dmp.log full=y

This command hangs in this statement " . Exporting system procedural objects and actions"
Then when I press CTL+c  this error is reported 
" EXP-0008 : ORACLE error 1013 encountered
  ORA-01013 : user requested cancel of current operation
