Open JMS connections with zero sessions

 Hi All,
We are using 7.8.2.16 SIA.We have JMS setup with TIBCO EMS middleware.
Lately the middleware team has raised that there are so many open connections with zero sessions that siebel make with EMS.
Siebel makes connection with every SendReceive but not clising them all. This is causing issues with the middleware when the connection reaches a high number. Is this the default behaviour? Can these connections be controlled?
