Recalculate revenue in Projects for Grants

in Projects - EBS (MOSC) Question
Hi,
I need to have more information about the Recalculate revenue in Projects and what it can be used for if having oracle grants implemented.
I tried looking in the guides and on support site but I did not find anything. appreciate any help to find a reference.
