Invalid Events in Purchasing

Hi,

We are having Invalid Events in Purchasing, the Subledger Period Close Exceptions report has listed from Draft Invalid PO's Requsitions and Releases.

Earlier also we got this issue and raised an SR for the issue, Oracle Support has provided the Datafix for this issue which cleared the Invalid Events.

We would like to know why we get Invalid Events what is the Root Cause of this issue and is the Datafix only solution for this issue.

Any help is much appreciated.
