can external usb DVD drive be connected to T4-4/T5-4 ?

Hello

I have a question about external USB DVD drive, we still have strong demand of DVD drive locally attached on SPARC servers.

I know none of T4-4, T5-4 nor T5-8 support internal DVD drive connected directly to SAS controller, I'd like to know if I can use external USB DVD drive for reading the data, burning DVD/CDR media and installating Solaris.

Your advise is highly appreciated.
