Remedial Units Need to be Counted for FA Term Load but not for NSLDS Loan Year Progression
We have a customer asking for recommendation on how to use remedial units to be counted for FA Term Load but not for NSLDS loan year progression:
"Students take FA eligible remedial courses as a normal occurrence and part of their academic program pre-req. The schools count the remedial units toward the FA Load but NOT toward the academic level progression (NSLDS Loan Year). According to PeopleBooks, the FA progress units on the course/class will increase the earned FA units for both NSLDS loan year and FA Load. Either we enter the FA progress units on the remedial course or not.
