Journal Import

Hi,I am trying to import a reversal journal in GL by giving the value in reversal flag(reference 7) and reversal period (reference 8).

After these journals are imported  i have to manually reverse the journal and the journal is not automatically reversed.

what is the purpose of uploading a reversal journal as i can always upload a normal journal(with reference 7 and reference 8 as null) and reverse it manually.
