Barcode for EAM Asset

Hi All.I have a requirement.
We have got oracle EAM module for a Client.
Clients wants that Asset should have barcode.
Work order will be created based on asset.
Techician will scan the asset with PDA and will recive open WO.
He will choose the WO on which to work and completes the work.
After that he scans back, it means WO is finshed.

My question here is , how we can crate barcode for each and every asseta nd intigrate wth oracle EAM to work ?
Any pointer will be appriciated.
