GL account combination error 4: The account number you selected requires a Division and Reporting Ce

We have several default combinations for our revenue accounts set up format "01.000.0000.1234.0000".  I am trying to create a new one but am getting an error. "ERROR 4: The account number you selected requires a Division and Reporting Centre. Contact Accounting Manager."  I have been checking everything in the set ups but can't determine what is causing this.  Any suggestions would be most welcome.
