async IO about redo log?

Hi,

I have a question. My test DB's redo log and data files are stored in the same DG in asm. When I query v$iostat_file view, only datafiles are shown ASYNC_ON. Log files are ASYNC_OFF, but redo logs and datafiles are in the same DG. Is the difference OK?
