Changing GL calendar -from Fiscal year to Calendar year

We are required to change our GL calendar from fiscal year to calendar year.Our calendar was from July to June and as from January 2014 we will be on calendar year January-December.

IN GL

I have defined a short year from July 2013 to December 2013 -Fiscal Year 2014(6 adjustment periods as at 31 December 2013)

Then a new calendar year from January 2014 to December 2014-Fiscal Year 2015

As per my investigations the change will affect Fixed Assets module which I have tested.

From FA side all is OK, FA journal entries transferred to GL successfully, took TB and entries are accounted.

In GL i have opened an closed all periods up to December 2013 then opened January 2014 to check if retained earnings updated correctly and it is OK(took TB and retained earnings was zeroed)
