Accessing Project ID from a project task

I have code in a PX to loop through each task listed on the Schedule tab of a phase of a project. For each task retrieved, I need to get the project number.

I tried using the "Root Parent" value for the task but this gave me the project name, not the project number. Can anyone point me to the right direction to get the Project Number?
