T31B servers running Symantec Storage Foundation/High Availability needs regular reboots

Hello everyone,
I have a Symantec Storage Foundation High Availability cluster on a pair of T31B SPARC servers running Solaris 10.  I am running SF/HA 5.1 SP1.  This cluster runs our production Oracle 10.2.0.5 databases using an active-passive model.

As I'm sure you all know, CPU load is a measure of the queue length for processes waiting to access the CPU.  On the active node running the production databases, CPU load will be in the range of 3 to 6 for several months and over the course of a few days slowly increase until it is so high that the system become unusable due to our web applications timing out while waiting for the database to respond.  From experience we know to expect web application timeouts when the database server CPU load goes above 8 and have seen CPU loads as high as 64.

Howdy, Stranger!
