Contract Purchase Agreements and Bulk Load items in R12

Hi,My client is on 11.5.10 and using contract Purchase Agreements and upgrading to R12.1.3.

I want to know the scope of Contract Purchase Agreements in R12.1.3 after upgrade and also how to bulk load items referencing to CPA.
1. Will the client be able to use CPAs as they are using in R12.1.3.
2. How to bulk load items referencing to CPA.

I got some information that the clients need to use Blanket Purchase Agreements instead of CPAs and i am really confused as BPA and CPA have different approach with respect to lines in BPA.

Please help!!
