Standard Attribute Groups not visible in PIM

Hi,
Is it possible to assign standard Item Pages/Attribute Groups to ICCs?

I have created a new catalog in core apps and it is visible in the list of ICCs in PIM. However, when I create an item under this ICC in PIM, I do not see standard attribute groups (Inventory, Purchasing etc) on the newly created items. How can I assign these to my new item? Please advise.
