Assets - Physical Inventory Process

Does anyone have an 'idiots giude' to the Assets Physical Inventory Process?

I'm testing the process out for the first time and have entered a very simple PI (2 assets I know are active and in use), ran the PI Comparison and can View the output via the form or by running the RXi: Physical Inventory Comparison Report. here I see the 2 assets I entered.

Next I then run the RXi: Physical Inventory Missing Assets Report to see what Active Assets were missing from my PI and that comes up blank. Is there something I'm missing?
