Unable to change component quantity at runtime

Unable to change component quantity at configurator runtime in oracle order management quote form. Fro example if I entered a quantity 20 in quote line and then want to change it to 5 at configurator, an error appear as follow :
Warning 
 

  my_cable [1] cannot be changed for the following reason:  

The count for my_cable [1] along with any contributions from other selections, is not evenly divisible by the count of the parent. User Count = 5 Contributed Count = 0 Parent Count = 20
